Mission Australia's Communities for Children will host the Inala to Goodna Parent and Child Expo on June 10.
Mission Australia Communities for Children manager Jenny Chaves said the expo provided an opportunity for families and children to engage with relevant support services and groups in the region.
``The expo provides a free family morning with information, entertainment interactive displays and activities for families and children,'' she said.
``Last year's expo attracted around 500 parents, carers, children and service providers.'' The event will be held at Durack State School and includes children's activities such as face painting, art and craft, a jumping castle, Barnyard Babies, a sausage sizzle and a concert led by performers Rompin Stompin.
Ms Chaves said the Inala to Goodna Child Friendly Excellence Awards would also be held as part of the expo.
``The Child Friendly Excellence awards are about celebrating and acknowledging individuals, services, business and groups who have provided outstanding service to families and children in the Inala to Goodna region,'' she said.
The Inala to Goodna Parent and Child Expo and Awards will be held on June 10 from 9.30am to 1pm at Durack State School Hall, Inala Avenue, Inala.
