A 23-YEAR-OLD Springfield man has voluntarily handed himself into police in relation to the alleged hit and run at Rocklea earlier this week.
Just after 7pm last night the man walked into a local police station and provided assistance to police conducting this investigation.
A 62-year-old man was killed while standing beside his car fixing his windscreen wiper when he was allegedly struck by a Pantec truck on Thursday.
Police have subsequently seized a light truck and further forensic investigations will be conducted.
Police investigations are continuing.
