THE creator of one of Australia's most memorable wartime anthems will celebrate the Anzac spirit in Goodna this month.
John Schumann is probably best known as the man who penned and sang one of Australia's most enduring and chilling war anthems - I Was Only 19 - and is well-regarded for helping Australians understand and appreciate their returned veterans.
The former Redgum frontman will perform at the Goodna RSL on Anzac Day.
