Ipswich City Council's Off Leash Dog Park at Brisbane Terrace Goodna is proving popular with local dog owners.
It is located next to the Cherokee Farm Dog Farm near Woogaroo Creek just past the Royal Mail Hotel, heading towards Wacol.
The facility is free.
There is water for the dogs and the facility is set in a safe and friendly environment.
You can even sit and relax under the shelter shed and watch the kangaroos across the road at the Wolston Park Golf Course.
There are plastic bags for users to pick up any doggy doo!
