Masters Springfield Central - How they stack up with Bunnings

Masters at Springfield Central will bring a whole new world of home and hardware shopping to Queenslanders.

Today marked the opening of the first Masters store in Queensland and the second in Australia.

The store is fully air-conditioned and an absolute delight to shop in.

The place is bright and airy, the aisles are wide and it is very easy to navigate around the store.

The garden section is in tip-top condition and the Trade area will no doubt do a roaring trade.

For the first time, Bunnings will face long and sustained competition from their new rival.  Bunnings is rushing to aircondition all of its stores around Australia but Masters has the jump on them.

The winners are local residents who can now expect on-going competitive prices as Masters (owned by Woolworths) and Bunnings (owned by Coles) fight one of the biggest commercial wars ever seen in Australia to win over the hearts and minds of consumers.
