TWO Ipswich primary schools now have the chance to win themselves a new set of rugby league jerseys in a competition run by the Ipswich Jets and The Queensland Times.

Initially only one school was going to win the $1100 prize, but thanks to the Queensland Rugby League south east division a second set of jerseys can be won.

Ipswich Jets CEO Brad Wolens said the extra prize was put up by QRL south east division's co-ordinator Peter Betross, who had heard about the competition and thought it was a great idea.

"He recognised that we were trying to support schools in our region and decided it was something the QRL wanted to support," he said.

"With Bristol Street Financial Services and The Queensland Times we're happy to be helping out schools with this competition."

Readers can fill out the entry form that will first appear in this Monday's edition of the QT and write in 25 words or less why your school deserves to win. Entrants are also encouraged to send in a photo of their school's old jerseys.
