Sales boom at Mountview at Redbank Plains
More than $56.9 million worth of property has been sold at Devine Communities' Mountview estate at Redbank Plains in just over 12 months.
Devine Communities Queensland sales manager Glenn Moat said a total of 345 home sites had been sold since Mountview's launch to market just over 12 months ago.
"Sales have been overwhelming at Mountview," Mr Moat said.
"Redbank Plains is an up and coming suburb nestled in the heart of South-East Queensland's dynamic and growing western corridor and people definitely want to be part of it."
Mr Moat said both owner-occupiers and investors were buying.
Ausbuild, Coral Homes, Metricon, Orbit Homes, Indigo Homes, Plantation Homes, Stylemaster Homes and Clarendon Homes are involved in the project.
Mr Moat said demand for Mountview showed no signs of slowing down, with Devine recently applying to Ipswich City Council for 280 new residential lots, four hectares of commercial and retail space and 9.3ha of open space.
A further application for 110 lots would be lodged in the near future.
Mountview is close to Redbank Plaza, Mountview and Orion shopping centres and surrounded by many schools and childcare centres.
Located in the White Rock National Conservation Park, Mountview will feature walking trails that lead to a lookout point on Mt Jullierat offering views of Brisbane.
Parklands and open space will also be dotted throughout the estate.
